Dr. Shaheedha - Founder & Managing Trustee

Dr. Shaheedha, our esteemed Founder and Managing Trustee, is the guiding force behind Amal Foundations. With a background in business and a deep-rooted passion for social service, Dr. Shaheedha established the trust with the vision of providing quality education and essential services to marginalized communities in Tamil Nadu and beyond.

Dr. Mohammed Saleem – Founder & Education Program Officer

Dr. Mohammed Saleem, our Education Program Officer, is dedicated to promoting access to quality education for all. Through our Skill Education initiative, Dr. Mohammed Saleem designs and implements programs aimed at equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today’s competitive world.

Mr. Umar Farook - Trustee & Project Officer

Mr. Umar Farook serves as our diligent Project Officer, overseeing the implementation and management of our various initiatives. With his expertise in project management and a heart for serving others, Mr. Umar Farook ensures that our projects run smoothly and effectively, delivering maximum impact to the beneficiaries we serve.

Mrs. Ansala - Trustee & Finance and Operations Officer

Mrs. Ansala, our Finance and Operations Officer, oversees the financial management and operational efficiency of Amal Foundations. With his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to transparency, Mrs. Ansala ensures that our resources are managed responsibly and that our programs are executed with the utmost efficiency.

Ms. Lavanya Ramesh - Trustee & Communications Lead Officer

Ms. Lavanya Ramesh serves as our dedicated Communications Lead, responsible for sharing our stories and amplifying our impact. Through our Global Warming Awareness and Action Against Hunger campaigns, Ms. Lavanya Ramesh raises awareness about pressing social and environmental issues, inspiring action and mobilizing support for our cause.

Prof. Dr. E. Syed Mohamed - Trustee, Education & Initiatives Committee Leader (TECH-LEADERS Forum of India - TELFI)

Prof. Dr. E. Syed Mohamed serves as a Trustee at Amal Foundations India, where he leads the Education & Initiatives Committee, particularly focusing on the Tech-Leaders Forum of India (TELFI). With a distinguished academic background and a passion for fostering innovation, Dr. Mohamed plays a pivotal role in guiding TELFI’s mission to empower students and professionals through technological education and leadership training. His expertise and vision are instrumental in driving the Amal Foundations’ initiatives aimed at creating sustainable growth and opportunities in the tech sector across India.

Mr. Silambarasan - Community Engagement Officer

Silambarasan, our Community Engagement Officer, plays a vital role in fostering strong relationships with the communities we serve. Through our Clean Water for All and Women Empowerment projects, Silambarasan works closely with local residents and stakeholders to identify needs, develop solutions, and ensure that our initiatives are inclusive and sustainable.

Mr. Shakthivel Prabhu - Health Program Coordinator

Shakthivel Prabhu leads our Health Program initiatives, including Medical Aid Campaigns aimed at providing essential healthcare services to underserved communities. Shakthivel Prabhu ‘s dedication to promoting health and well-being ensures that our medical aid efforts have a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
